I love my Instagram feed because it's a mixture of photos from friends and photos from extremely talented photographers. Most of my feed is food-focused. Here are four of my favourite Instagram feeds. You should follow them too! (And please follow me as well, of course!)
Cheryl Sternman Rule: sternmanrule
Sternman Rule is the author of Ripe and the blogger at 5 Second Rule. Her photos are well composed and her captions are usually punny or ironic. She's down-to-earth and refreshing.
Going bowling.
Clean Food Dirty City: @cleanfooddirtycity
Both the blog at Clean Food Dirty City and the Instagram feed are minimalist and stunning. I appreciate the healthy food, which is always gluten- and dairy-free.
lots of love [strawberry banana beet ice cream: one frozen banana, 1 cup frozen strawberries, 1/2 beet + unsweetened almond milk to blend topped with coco flakes, cacao nibs, chia seeds + hemp hearts]
Alice Gao: @alice_gao
Gao is a New York photographer who blogs at lingered upon. Her photos frequently include interiors, fashion, and lots of food. She is a master at conveying the mood of an afternoon spent quietly or the bustle of morning.
The other side. Not gonna lie. Knees got weak taking this.
Aya Brackett
Brackett is a commercial photographer in California and a flick through her portfolio is a very enjoyable internet session. She primarily posts food on Instagram, with a dash of travel photos.
I love that apple plate. #AstierdeVillatte
Nat Geo Travel: @natgeotravel
No, not food, but exquisite photos of places around the world worth visiting. Their website is similarly inspiring.
Mission mountains, took a long time to drive from Whitefish to Missoula. Had to keep pulling over to take pictures photo by @danwestergren #inmontana #montanamoment #latergram
